At BINDY, we design t-shirts for women who live the ride as a way of life — whether they ride a wave, a sidewalk, or simply a long day at work.

Designed in Belgium, manufactured with respect for people and planet, our women's t-shirts tell the ride culture our way: no flash, with character, and always a story behind the print.

The BINDY DNA in every t-shirt

BINDY was born from a simple thought: Belgium needed a brand that genuinely talked about our coast, our North Sea, and the community of riders who push through the grey to find flow. Not a brand copy-pasted from California or Hossegor. A Belgian brand, rooted in its place, owning both the clichés and the raw beauty of the country.

On the women's side, we refused from day one the trap of "glittered feminine surfwear": no softened prints to please, no imposed pastel palette, no unnatural slim cuts. The same strong prints as the men's models — Hello Beach, Iconic, Surf Club — but with patterns specifically thought through for a feminine fit. Plus a few models exclusive to the women's catalogue.

Our women's t-shirt collections

BINDY doesn't run an endless catalogue. We'd rather release fewer models — thought through, designed to last — across collections that stand the test of time. Here are the main lines you'll find in this category:

• BINDY ESSENTIELLE Women — the foundation. Regular fit, premium cotton, discrete logo. The t-shirt you'll wear 200 times without growing tired of it.
• HELLO BEACH Women — coastal spirit. Soft colours, vintage typo, the feel of a 1985 July afternoon on a North Sea beach.
• ICONIC Women — the signature piece, key BINDY print, regular or fitted cut depending on the model.
• SURF CLUB Women & SURF CLUB Black Edition Women — tribute to Belgian surf clubs, classic version or black edition.
• SKATE WAVE Women — where surf culture meets skate spirit. Bold visual on the back, discrete branding at the front. Available in crop on some models.
• BINDY ISLAND, BINDY WORLD, WORLDWIDE, WILDERNESS, VIBE, ELEMENTS, RIDE IT ALL — chapters in the BINDY book, translated to the women's side season after season.

Organic cotton, serious certifications, responsible production

We made an early commitment to only manufacture with materials we stand behind. Today, the vast majority of our women's t-shirts are made in GOTS-certified organic cotton (Global Organic Textile Standard) — the global benchmark for organic cotton, controlling everything from the field to the finished garment: no pesticides, water preserved, working conditions respected.

Depending on the model, we blend in recycled polyester for shape retention, and we work with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 suppliers (zero harmful substances tested batch by batch) and PETA-approved Vegan partners (no animal-derived components).

How to choose your fit and size

Across the women's t-shirt collection, we offer three cut families:

• Regular — straight cut, not too tight, not too loose, on a feminine pattern base. Our default fit for ESSENTIELLE Women, HELLO BEACH Women, ICONIC Women, VIBE, ELEMENTS. Pick your usual size.
• Fitted — lightly shaped at the waist, never excessive. On certain ICONIC and BINDY ISLAND variants. If unsure between sizes, take the larger for a softer drape.
• Crop / boxy — on collections like SKATE WAVE Women, inspired by 90s skate culture: shorter, wider at the shoulders. Take your usual size for a controlled look, or go down one size for less volume.

Sizing ranges from XXS to XL on most models. Our t-shirt weights sit between 180 and 220 g/m² depending on the model: thick enough to fall well and last, light enough to wear in summer. Exact weight is shown on each product page.

• Wash at 30°C inside out
• No tumble dryer (flat drying preferred)
• No direct ironing on prints
• No bleach

Frequently asked questions

How do your women's t-shirts fit?

Our regular fits run true to size — go with your usual size. For fitted cuts, pick your usual size if you like a closer fit, or size up for a softer drape. For crop fits (SKATE WAVE), stick to your usual size for a controlled look, or go down one size for less volume. A full size guide will be available here shortly.

Are your women's t-shirts 100 % made in Belgium?

The design, yes — 100 % Belgian. The manufacturing, no: no Belgian textile facility can match our volumes and our organic cotton requirements at a reasonable price. We manufacture mainly in Portugal and Turkey, in certified workshops.

Are women's models just men's models in smaller sizes?

Some prints (Hello Beach, Iconic, Surf Club, Bindy Island) exist in both collections, with specific patterns. Other models are exclusive to the women's collection (notably some crop cuts). And a few men's models have no women's equivalent — and vice versa.

What sizes are available?

Mostly XXS to XL on women's t-shirts. If a size is missing on a product page, write to us at hello@bindy.world — we sometimes re-run series based on demand.

Do you offer exchanges and returns?

Is BINDY only for surfers?

Not at all. A large part of our female community will never surf — but they share the values we stand for: freedom, local roots, respect for living things, and the desire to wear meaningful pieces. If that resonates, BINDY is for you too.
