From the basic you grab after a session to the signature pieces telling our coast's story — designed in Brussels, manufactured in Europe, built to outlast the seasons.

BINDY for women is the same story as BINDY itself: the North Sea, Ostend, Belgian ride culture, and the urge to dress those who live the ride (or its values) without falling into the badly thought-out cuts you too often see in women's surfwear.

BINDY style, women's side

We made a clean choice from day one: don't drift into the "glittered feminine" that defines so many women's surf brands. No softened prints, no nipped-in cuts for the sake of pleasing, no imposed pastel palette. The women pushing their boards in Ostend, chasing wind at Knokke, or riding the Brussels bowl deserve a brand that speaks to them as directly as it does to the guys.

In practice: the same strong prints, the same stories, the same premium fabrics — but with specific patterns (shoulders, sleeves, necklines, length) thought through for a feminine fit. Plus a few models exclusive to the women's collection, because some cuts (crop, fitted) have no menswear equivalent.

Fits & sizes: what we offer

The women's collection comes in three cut families:

• Regular — straight cut, unisex base reworked with a feminine pattern. Our default fit for ESSENTIELLE Women, HELLO BEACH Women, ICONIC Women. Take your usual size.
• Fitted — lightly shaped at the waist, never excessive. For those who prefer a more defined silhouette without going slim.
• Crop / boxy — on some t-shirts inspired by 90s cuts. Shorter, wider at the shoulders. If in doubt, stick to your usual size for a controlled look.

Sizing ranges from XXS to XL on most women's models. T-shirt weights sit between 180 and 220 g/m²; hoodies are 350 g/m² (premium, not thin fleece). Exact weight is shown on each product page.

BINDY universes: surf, skate, lifestyle, outdoor

The women's collection spans the brand's four historical universes:

• Surf — coastal soul. Hello Beach Women, Bindy Island, pieces inspired by the North Sea.
• Skate — street spirit. Skate Wave Women, crop t-shirts, wider cuts.
• Lifestyle — effortless everyday. BINDY ESSENTIELLE Women, Iconic, Vibe.
• Outdoor — for the days out of the water. Wilderness, Sherpa jackets, thick hoodies.

Same standards as the rest of the BINDY collection:

• GOTS-certified organic cotton on most women's models
• Recycled polyester blended in for shape retention (hoodies, sweats, jackets)
• Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for all our suppliers (zero harmful substances tested batch by batch)
• PETA-approved Vegan (no animal-derived components)

Frequently asked questions

How do your women's items fit?

Regular fits = usual size. Fitted cuts = same if you like a closer fit; size up for a softer drape. Crop fits = usual size for a controlled look. A full size guide will be available here shortly.

Are your women's pieces just men's models in smaller sizes?

No. Patterns are reworked: shoulders, sleeves, necklines, length. Some cuts (crop, fitted) don't exist on the men's side. And some collections are exclusive to the women's catalogue.

What sizes are available?

Mostly XXS-XL on t-shirts and hoodies. If a size is missing on the product page, write to us at hello@bindy.world — we sometimes re-run series based on demand.

Is BINDY only for surfers?

Not at all. A large share of our female customers will never surf — they simply share the values we stand for: freedom, local roots, respect for living things, the desire to wear meaningful pieces. If that resonates, BINDY is for you.
