At BINDY, we design t-shirts for people who live the ride as a way of life — whether they're riding a wave, a sidewalk, or a long day at work.

Designed in Belgium, manufactured with respect for people and planet, our men's t-shirts tell the ride culture our way: no flash, with character, and always a story behind the print.

The BINDY DNA in every t-shirt

BINDY was born from a simple thought: Belgium needed a brand that genuinely talked about our coast, our North Sea, and the community of riders who push through the grey to find flow. Not a brand copy-pasted from California or Hossegor. A Belgian brand, rooted in its place, owning both the clichés and the raw beauty of the country.

Every t-shirt we design carries that philosophy. Hello Beach evokes those Ostend afternoons when the wind finally drops. Surf Club nods to the pioneers of Belgian surf culture. Skate Wave bridges skateboard and wave. Wilderness reminds us we can be city dwellers and seek nature at the same time. None of our references are random — each one points to a place, a moment, or a state of mind.

Our men's t-shirt collections

BINDY doesn't run an endless catalogue. We'd rather release fewer models — thought through, designed to last — across collections that stand the test of time. Here are the main lines you'll find in this category:

• BINDY ESSENTIELLE — the foundation. Regular fit, premium cotton, discrete logo. The t-shirt you'll wear 200 times without growing tired of it. Also available in long sleeve for transitional seasons.
• HELLO BEACH — coastal spirit. Soft colours, vintage typo, the feel of a 1985 July afternoon on a North Sea beach.
• SURF CLUB & SURF CLUB Black Edition — tribute to Belgian surf clubs, classic version or black edition.
• SKATE WAVE — where surf culture meets skate spirit. Bold visual on the back, discrete branding at the front.

Organic cotton, serious certifications, responsible production

We made an early commitment to only manufacture with materials we stand behind. Today, the vast majority of our t-shirts are made in GOTS-certified organic cotton (Global Organic Textile Standard) — the global benchmark for organic cotton, controlling everything from the field to the finished garment: no pesticides, water preserved, working conditions respected.

Depending on the model, we blend in recycled polyester for shape retention, and we work with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 suppliers (zero harmful substances tested batch by batch) and PETA-approved Vegan partners (no animal-derived components).

How to choose your fit and size

Across the men's collection, we mainly offer two cuts:

• Regular — straight cut, not too tight, not too loose. Our default fit for ESSENTIELLE, HELLO BEACH, ICONIC, ELEMENTS, VIBE. Pick your usual size.
• Oversize / boxy — on collections like SKATE WAVE and SURF CLUB, we go wider, inspired by 90s skate culture. If unsure, stick to your size for a controlled oversize look, or go down one size for a more moderate fit.

Our t-shirt weights range from 180 to 220 g/m² depending on the model: thick enough to fall well and last, light enough to wear in summer. Exact weight is shown on each product page.

• Wash at 30°C inside out
• No tumble dryer (flat drying preferred)
• No direct ironing on prints
• No bleach

Frequently asked questions

How do your t-shirts fit?

Our regular fits run true to size — go with your usual size. For oversize cuts (SKATE WAVE, SURF CLUB), you can size down if you prefer a more moderate look. A full size guide will be available here shortly.

Are your t-shirts 100 % made in Belgium?

The design, yes — 100 % Belgian. The manufacturing, no: no Belgian textile facility can match our volumes and our organic cotton requirements at a reasonable price. We manufacture mainly in Portugal and Turkey, in certified workshops.

Do you offer exchanges and returns?

Is BINDY only for surfers?

Not at all. A large part of our community will never surf — but they share the values we stand for: freedom, local roots, respect for living things, and the desire to wear meaningful pieces. If that resonates, BINDY is for you too.
