A women's hoodie, at BINDY, isn't a "smaller version" of the men's model. It's a cut designed to fall right on the shoulders, mark the waist without squeezing, and follow you from a morning session in Ostend to a day between studio, coffee shop and workshop. Designed in Brussels, manufactured in Portugal in GOTS organic cotton, the BINDY hoodie tells the ride culture in feminine — no condescension, no mandatory pink, just character.

What makes a BINDY women's hoodie

We spent a long time looking for the right proportions before releasing our first women's models. Here's what defines the whole collection:

• Refined feminine cut — fitted shoulders, slight waist taper, sleeves at the right length (sleeves that drop on the knuckles are intentional, not a flaw).
• Weight 320 to 350 g/m² — heavy enough to keep warm on the dike, never rigid or cumbersome to wear.
• Lined hood with recycled metal drawcord — the detail that makes a hoodie last: plastic tips snap, recycled metal lasts years.
• Kangaroo pocket tuned to the cut — deep enough for essentials, placed so it doesn't break the line.
• Soft ribbed cuffs and hem that don't sag after ten machine cycles.

Each collection has its women's version — no "men's only" pieces grudgingly adapted. In this category:

We grow the collection at a slow pace — no overproduction, no leftover stock at season-end.

GOTS organic cotton and responsible production

The vast majority of our women's hoodies are made in GOTS-certified organic cotton — the global benchmark for organic cotton, controlling everything from field to finished garment: no pesticides, water preserved, working conditions respected.

Depending on the model, we add recycled polyester for fleece structure, and we work with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and PETA-approved Vegan suppliers (no animal-derived components, dyes included).

Hoodie or crewneck?

If you're hesitating between a hoodie and a crewneck sweatshirt (round neck, no hood):

• The hoodie is warmer, more versatile outdoors, perfect for outdoor sessions, dike walks, cool evenings.

Fits and sizes

Across the women's hoodie line, we mainly offer two cuts:

• Regular feminine fit — our default, fitted shoulders with slight taper. Pick your usual size. Models: HELLO BEACH, RIDE IT ALL, SURF CLUB.
• Oversize fit — on SKATE WAVE and BINDY ISLAND, dropped shoulders and slightly longer length. If you prefer a more measured look, size down.

All our cuts are designed to fall over jeans, leggings, skirts — no "gym only" cuts.

How do your women's hoodies fit?

Regular feminine fits: usual size. Oversize cuts (SKATE WAVE, BINDY ISLAND): size down for a more fitted effect. Full size guide available here shortly.

Are your hoodies unisex or gendered?

We offer dedicated women's cuts (shoulders, waist, length reworked) and dedicated men's cuts. Many in the community prefer the oversize men's version — it's your call, no fit police here.

Made in Belgium?

Design, yes — 100 % Brussels. Manufacturing, mainly Portugal, in certified workshops.
